Firefighter Bradley W. Green

Firefighter Green and other members of his Dept were on the scene of a motor vehicle accident for approximately 4.5 hours. The incident involved an overturned tanker with possible hazardous materials.

While on the scene, Firefighter Green complained of not feeling well. He moved away from the immediate scene, removed his gear, and took a break. He was checked by FIRE/EMS personnel but refused additional treatment. After approximately 30 minutes, he stated that he felt better and rejoined the other firefighters.Approximately 3 hours after clearing the scene, he collapsed in cardiac arrest.
