Several hours after responding to 2 FIRE/EMS calls, Lieutenant Buchanan was involved in a motor vehicle collision with a school bus. It was later determined that he had suffered a fatal heart attack before the collision occurred.
Lieutenant Buchanan had recently been elected Chairman of the Board of his Dept.
