Incident
On Wednesday February 23, members of the St. Louis Fire Department fought a fire in the film exchange at 7th and Pine Streets. Shortly after the fire, Firefighter McNulty complained of a severe cold. He was cared for at Engine House #6, which he was assigned, and went home on Thursday. On Thursday night, his symptoms became worse and a doctor was called for. Firefighter McNulty died from pneumonia the following day.
