Incident

Lieutenant Foley died of severe burns that he received after he became trapped while fighting a fire at the Peck Automobile Shop garage. The garage housed motorized cars and was located at 1112 East Fifteenth Street. An explosion of gasoline in the garage was thought to be the cause.
