Firefighter John Craig

FF Craig was riding on the tail board of a fire pumper that was struck at an intersection by a mail truck, turning the fire truck on to its side. The fire truck was in route to another fire house for replacement that was out on a fire. At the time of the incident replacement was considered an emergency response with the fire truck traveling with its lights and siren on. Also killed in this incident were Captain Frank Jones, FF William Nation and FF Robert Geisler.
