Incident
While fighting a fire at Third and Locust Streets, Firefighter Nester, who was a member of Truck Company 6, fell through a skylight shaft as he and other firefighters were attempting to get a hose line into positon on the roof of an adjoining building. He died a short time later at City Hospital.
