Incident
Officer Fabick was struck by a hit-and-run driver while directing traffic at an accident scene on Watson Street. He was transported to City Hospital where he died the next morning.
The vehicle that struck him had been drag racing. The driver was arrested and admitted to striking him. The man was charged with manslaughter.
