Incident
Firefighter Owsley was seriously injured when the Hosewagon that he was riding on was struck by a streetcar at Twelfth Street and Bennington Avenue. He was taken to St. Joseph Hospital where he died the following day. Two other firefighters were injured in the accident. Firefighter Owsley was assigned to #27 Hose Company
