Reserve Deputy McGee was shot and killed while working security for a Kansas City grocery store while off-duty. Deputy McGee was shot and killed while struggling with a armed suspect who was attempting to hold up the store.
The 17 year-old suspect was convicted of first degree murder and sentenced to life February 13, 1974.
