Incident
Juvenile Officer Charles West was shot and killed when he went to visit a juvenile offender he was supervising.
Officer West went to the home of the suspect for a home visit. When Officer West arrived, the suspect fled into the house and retrieved a gun. He then came back outside and shot Officer West, killing him.
