Incident
Officer Rhoads was involved in a motor vehicle crash while en route from home to training in Richmond, KY. The accident occurred at approximately 7:00 A.M. on US-27 near KY-1845 and the Jessamine-Garrard County line.
Reportedly, another driver pulled out onto US 27 from Rodgers Road and clipped Officer Rhoads' vehicle. The police unit then spun into oncoming traffic and was struck by a third vehicle.
