Firefighter Henry H. McDonald

Firefighter Henry H. McDonald died in his sleep of an apparent heart attack while on duty at Fire Station #4 on Jefferson Street. According to other firefighters, FF McDonald had been in good spirits but went to bed early, at around 1900hrs. At 2020hrs, he was found unconsious in his bunk by other firefighters at the station. Efforts to revive FF McDonald failed and he was pronounced dead at St. Joseph hospital a short time later.
