Incident

Firefighter Wilhelm was working a detail at the firehouse when she left to pick up needed supplies.

While driving, she suddenly accelerated and struck a tree.

It was determined that she had suffered a heart attack which led to the accident.

For those of you that didn't know, Tomi ,as wecalled her, was a Firefighter /Parmedic. She was 38 when God took her from us. She was a Vol. FF with the Crofton Vol. FireDept. and a Paramedic with Yellow Ambulance of Hopkinsville, Ky.She was a Great friend to all ! She truly cared for every patient as if thier life depended on it , no matter how minor the call was. I know this because we were partners for 2 1/2 years. No matter who she talked to, she left a lasting impression, because of her kindness. Tomi, you are Sorely Missed. Love and Miss You, Dennis & WandaP.S. Matt & Ashley are doing well, and Ashley is in an EMT class and loving it.
