Firefighter Kenneth "Kenny" Stewart

While responding to a reported fire alarm, Firefighter Stewart fell from the apparatus that he was riding on. Firefighter Stewart, who was riding on the tailboard, suffered a severe head injury and was transported to a nearby hospital. He died during surgery approximately four hours later. A seven year-old boy later admitted to activating the pull station on the box alarm.
